As set forth in more detail below, the City of Menlo Park Community Services
Department (“Community Services Department” or “We”) collects personal information
that you provide when using the www.egovlink.com/menlopark web site ("Site"). This
information includes your first and last name, email address and a password when you
create your www.egovlink.com/menlopark account. You can browse this Site without
creating an account, but you will need to create an account when you make a purchase.
We may ask you to confirm your personal information when you contact one of our staff
members. This will allow us to protect your confidentiality by verifying your identity.
Purchase Information
When you make a purchase from www.egovlink.com/menlopark, we collect your name
and payment method information, such as credit card information. We collect this
information in order to bill you for your purchase. We also collect information that
allows us to verify if you are a resident of Menlo Park. This includes the name, address,
and phone number of the participant and individual providing payment.
When you create an account at www.egovlink.com/menlopark, your information will be
saved in "Manage Account". You may change or delete this saved information anytime.
Simply log on to go to Manage Account. Log in with your email address and password,
then edit or delete whatever personal information you wish (i.e. phone number,
emergency contact, address, etc.) If you need assistance or would like your entire
account delete, please contact the Community Services Department directly at

Services Account Information
We collect personal information from customers who wish to use any of the Community
Services Department services, including but not limited to, Community Classes,
Gymnastics, Child Care, Senior Center, Special Events, Aquatics, Facility Rentals, and
other services. In order to use these services you must provide your email address and
password or create an account at www.egovlink.com/menlopark.

We will use your email address to respond to your questions, suggestions, and/or requests
for assistance in using this Site.
Other Times We May Collect Personal Information
From time to time, www.egovlink.com/menlopark may conduct surveys, provide
Community Services Department marketing materials, and email announcements. If you
participate, we may collect your name, email address, mailing address and other personal
information. We will never sell or rent such information to any third parties.

service provider EC Link, has obtained a digital certificate from Verisign, Inc., a leading
provider of Internet trust services. When you enter a secure portion of this Site, an image
of a closed lock or a solid key should appear in the bottom bar of your browser window.
If you click on this image, a small popup window displaying site-security information
will appear. This certificate guarantees that your personal information is being
transmitted in secure (encrypted) form to our EC Link web server, not to some unknown
or unauthorized server.
Ultimately, your personal information is protected by the password you created when you
created an account at www.egovlink.com/menlopark. Please keep this password
confidential. No employee or any other representative of City of Menlo Park Community
Services Department will ever ask you for your password. The confidentiality of your
password is yours to protect. You may change it anytime by going to “Manage Account”.
Log in with your email address and password, then click on Manage Account and enter a
new password.
How You Can Decide What Communication You Receive From Us
City of Menlo Park Community Services Department may from time to time send you
email messages or other forms of marketing communications describing new classes,
upcoming events, specific class information, and other department information. However,
unless it is information specifically for a class or event you are enrolled in, you will elect
to subscribe to one of our mailing lists. You can choose to stop receiving any emails
from us at any time. Simply go to Manage Account, click "Subscribe to Email
Communications" and remove the check in the box next to the mailing list you would no
longer like to receive.
The only email messages you will receive from www.egovlink.com/menlopark when you
elect not to receive emails will be to confirm any purchases you make on our site, let you
know if there are any updates to the class you or your family member is enrolled in,
respond to your Customer Service inquiries, and to answer any other questions you may
have about our site. In addition, we may also need to send reminder emails to inform you
of important documents such as Waivers or Residency Verification that need to be
completed prior to the first day of classes.

modify or amend this policy at any time. Please check our Privacy Policy periodically for
